So I have to write my bio for the web page. Immediately the left and right sides of my brain engage in a major debate and collectively agree that .5 seconds is far too long a period of time to discuss this. I guess they both have other things they'd rather do. During this long, lenghty discussion, they both agreed that personal bio's are boring and since they have to help me with this, and don't have a choice, they may as well have some fun with it. Hey it's not often these two agree on things so lets just do it, o.k. BIRTH PLACE: Earth
AGE: Hmmmmmmm
HEIGHT: Sometimes I'm ten feet tall. Sometimes I can just see the
sun coming up over the curb, but most of the time I bounce around
between five and six feet.
WEIGHT: No thanks. It just slows me down.
EYES: Yes x2
EYE COLOR: Blue, surrounded by either white or a lot of red.
MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS: Yeah, I've heard of them.
DO YOU PLAY ANY?: Yes I have electric, and acoustic guitars that I play as well as my body which I use for singing.
MUSICAL INFLUENCES: Peggy McLean who taught me the basics, then set me
free to fall down, get back up and keep doing it until you think you
have it right. The other guys in the band. The solo guy at the bar the
other night who was taking requests and playing them all with a lot of feel.
Any sound that is appealing to my ear. Any recorded or live music that is good. I also influence myself sometimes.
DISLIKES: The things I don't care for.
LIKES: All the things I don't dislike.
FAVORITE BANDS: All the ones I like.
FAVORITE FOODS: The ones that don't make me sick.
FAVORITE TYPE OF MUSIC: Music is music. Why does there have to be types? I'm typing right now.
FAVORITE COLOR: Now this is getting really stupid!
WANT TO STOP?: Yes please. Thank you.
So there you have it. Me and my two best buddy's, the left and right sides of my brain, once again have done something different, although they are now arguing over who had the most input. Anyway regardless of all that, I want to thank you for checking out our page and clickin' on this.
Very seriously, DISASTER AREA owes a lot of major thanks and
appreciation to all those who have supported and helped us over the
years. You have picked us up when we've been down, fed us, gave us a
place to stay, some have even loaned us money. On top of that, you have
been to the shows and really dig the music. All that we've accomplished,
and are about to accomplish, could not have been possible, and will not
be possible without you.
Thank you very much. |
